Something Different at a County Fair

Well, I am always on the look out for something different. Try this... you are the parent of a teenager or young adult. One of the things you worry about is teenage drinking... and driving. There certainly have been a lot of teenagers killed for being under the influence.
Now along comes virtual reality. This one is good and its at a county fair too. The teenagers and young adults will actually have fun seeing what its like to drive under the influence and in bad weather also. They might even actually learn something.
Cudos, to the Tioga County Fair... its quite cool.

“It’s Show Time” at the 2007 Missouri State Fair!

( SEDALIA, Mo.) – Fair officials recently unveiled the theme, “It’s Show Time,” for the 2007 Missouri State Fair. The theme will drive the Fair’s media and advertising campaign for the 11-day event, August 9-19.

Mike Riley, Interim Director, said, “The theme, “It’s Show Time!” proudly invites one and all to join us for a front-row seat in Sedalia. We have everything from livestock shows to big-name concerts. After all, we are the Show-Me State and the Fair is where we show off the best of the best of our state!”

The Fair’s play bill will feature a magnificent mile of midway fun and Pepsi Grandstand concerts performed by the best in the business. Add in agricultural competitions, educational displays, free entertainment... and family-friendly fun may just steal the show!

There will be show-stopping promotions which will save everyone money and produce standing room only crowds and excitement at the 2007 Missouri State Fair.
